Trains And Winter Rains NEW ALBUM OUT 11/11
Statistically the majority of population in US celebrate and mostly go home for their "Xmas". Enya releases this cd as Xmas and seasonal album. You can hear this track in many malls with traditional Xmas songs DESPITE it's a seasonal song; posibly this wasn't the primary intention of Roma Ryan. 1,500,000 jobs have been lost in middle of 2008 and WE'RE in recession according to National Bureau of Economic Research. I didn't realize Xmas is not winter and viceversa, thanks for clarify this :D.
This song is confusing. Parts of it make it sound happy but then there's a dark part to it. I'm all for complexity, but the song to me would have been more compelling if it were one way or the other.
I really love Enya, but I don't understand why I feel so depressed when I hear this song... the nostalgic touch in this song and all terrible things have happened in the end of 2008.. sad Xmas.
I hope everything changes in future. My Blessings for all of you in these difficult times. Peace and prosperity for this and next year!
The River Sings
Loxian is a language created by Roma Ryan, who writes the lyrics for Enya. It is derived from the (also fictional) Loxian people, whom Enya has described as beings who "live on another planet" and wonder if they are alone in the universe.

I always loved this song. Enya has such a unique voice it's like she harmonises with every single note in her songs which no-one else does.
Enya, proof that that the celts were from mils [spain] as the ulster cycles long said. The later germanic tribes must have whitened them out. Stunning woman - voice and face.

Too many effects on her voice which make her sound like a syntisizer. thats always been her trick.. But it still gorgeous!!!
That static sound is from the tape playing the song back stage. They had audio problems but for Enya's sake, her fans weren't smart enough to notice.

Enya is a beautiful soul and she represents beauty and everything that is good. Virtue!

Exile
Absolutely! "LA Story" is fantastic. Another non-comedy with Steve Martin that is great is "Grand Canyon". Both movies have great music too! In fact, the first CD I ever bought was the "Grand Canyon" soundtrack. LOL!
I love listening to Enya, and feel her music is very unique in that it is very atmospheric and flows independently of time. I have been attempting to write my own melodies in this 'escapist' genre. Please fell free to critique my own chillout track i have recently uploaded, and tell me what can be improved, and what instruments you would like to hear in the future.
On My Way Home
Wonderful video, great song by Enya. She has just about the loveliest and most soothing voice I've ever heard. This is a very appropritate song for the holidays.

I can't believe this song got a Razzie Award in 1993. It was in the movie "Far And Away" I believe. Great song and even better performer!

Sailor Moon
This is Joe Cracker, I'd have to say for many japanise anime that where released in the US. Sailor Moon stands alone for it's effort of being one of it's elements of an all female force, dealing with beings from other planets without any Sci-Fi elements that deal with the subject matter. I do believe that Sailor Moon still has a future as long as their is a loyal fan base around the world.
Each generation transcends the other , the stuff in the past such as movies and shows might seem like a bunch of crap to this generation does not mean a damn thing to what it did in the time it was created. This so called overrated crap was actually an inspiration and something new for the time. You just sorta have to get passed the cheesy parts and love it for what it is and what it did to influence the time and how it helped develop the stuff that was created in this generation.
The fact that sailor moon is an award winning classic doest say much icecreamyaa. Since the 80's, there is a bunch of overrated crap that has won such titles, and not only in the anime world, its like saying titanic is a better movie than pulp fiction because titanic won 10 more academy awards than pulp fiction...which is a lot of (...), well i dont want to use ugly words, man, if you liked it , great, all im saying is that there are plenty better anime series than sailor moon, a lot.

Only Time
Enigma is best to have sex to lol. But I love this album of Enya's, it's so relaxing. I think its her best one. I love to listen to this while I'm taking a bubble bath and burning candles...the stress just melts away.

Storms In Africa
I have been an avid fan of Enya for as long as I can remember. So beautiful & magic ! There is so much dynamic & strength in this video, combined with this wonderful song of Enya. The joy of life ! - Let's walk in beauty ! This song is so beautiful. And i hope God will see Africa bcuz people die from hunger.
This song is to beautiful to argue on take it somewhere else.. Enya is beautiful in her own way, everyone is, we dont have to be some famous person, we could be anything and to each is thier own and to thier own is beauty within.

I don't understand why there are so many Final Fantasy based videos, isn't that a game? But i'm amazed at the quality of the motion capture anyway. MARAVILHOSO!!

Why the strangeness at 1:52? All of that, 'Turn it up, bop-ba-doo' sort of
breaks the continuity in the song...
